I'm not the greatest fan of board games, unless you include rpgs with battle grid. Then I'm an avid lover. But I'd say they are a whole different thing, so talking board games:
I sort of like chess, but I'm probably quite bad as I rarely play it (no partners to play irl, don't like playing online). I quite like strategy games where you have armies and so on on a map, like that Risk game. I've even once designed a ruleset with my friends and we played an awesome wargame on a real map of Germany (and once in Poland).
Apart from that I have good memories of playing Eurobusiness (pl Monopoly rip-off) when I was younger.
