Mod ranks was what kept the competition alive.

Mod ranks are (sort of) still a thing (only for ranked server mods), however they are just plagued by players who farm on new members for a high rank and ELO; the whole system needs revitalizing and addressing.

actually no,mod ranks is not a thing,you can only get ranks
in mods that are in the ranked servers only,also i have made a suggestion
about it and it has been elevated:

my main points would be:

the current system disregards any player that don't like the current ranked mods,so im just
saying add ranks to all mods,keep them outside of the global rank count,but allow us to have fun.

for me,one of the best parts when i started playing toribash,
was when i would enter a room and see someone highly ranked,
i was like "hell yea,time to show off" and afterwards when i myself
got a good rank,it felt like i really earned it,and i was not even
in the top 100.

personally im not even asking for tc rewards,
i just want to be able to know how i compare
versus another player in the mods that i enjoy
to play.

I feel like mod ranks were removed because people would constantly farm the rank in unofficial servers with their mates. I don't think it would ever be competitive because of how easy it is to abuse such ranking system

constantly farming the ranks is a result of not enforcing the rules
rather than a bad system,don't you think?

If someone is exploiting the system he should be just banned,and that's it.
