I'm thinking of switching my Ubuntu from Gnome to KDE.

My questions:

1) How do I uninstall gnome?

2) When I uninstall gnome, will all the programs that came with it be gone?

3) After uninstalling it, will I be presented with a blank screen or a command-line interface?

4) How do I uninstall KDE from the command-line?



That's about all I need to know.

I just remembered that when I installed ubuntu, I put a / partition and a /home. Couldn't I just replace the ubuntu / with the kubuntu /, since kubuntu is ubuntu but with KDE?
