The problem with Toribash, and why people hate it but play it, is the fact that after about 7 games (even if they are several different modes) it gets repetitive and boring. It's a fun and interesting experimental game, and in that aspect, people will always come back in play it, because there are so many possibilities. But mp is always going to get repetitive after a few games, even if it's your favorite mode. sp however, in my opinion, will never get boring, because of the many different things you are able to do. Sure, you're always going to be dismembering uke; but you can pick different ways to do it, and that's what makes it fun. In mp, however, I think it gets a little boring, especially if you're really good and know the tactics on how to win. That's why your first few weeks playing the game are non-stop, because you want to learn how to get better and better. But once you get there, the thrill of play is over.
