So how do you generally start a conversation when you first meet a person. I personally like to start with simple things like Hello how are you and go on to more interesting topics like what games they play hubbies and then later whatever comes to mind, could be giraffes, what i had for lunch, and etc.

So what are your favorite conversation starting kits.

Silence, so they have to start the conversation.

Hi. My name is ____. Whats yours?

Hi
where do you live? mine is ______.
or
Sup?

I usually say "Yo" they say something in reponse. Then I say "Sup?" and then the conversation begins.

With a girl:
"Hey, why so pretty and so lonely?"
"Hey, how you doin'?"

Then I introduce myself, etc.

With guys:
"Yo, sup."
