Is there possibly a way to fix this? when I go to the multiplayer screen, and click one of the filters, ie: desc, room etc etc... when the servers are still being found, the game freezes, and i must shut it off. Although a simple solution could be not to click the filters when its loading, a technical solution to this would be a bit more preferable.

Then just don't click on them when they are loading. The key rule here is to be patient.
