New work for the weekly challenge thingy
This is some Photoshop but mostly Maya. And yes I think its floating can't believe I did that beginner mistake.

yeah this was a sort of quick light setup, I can do a new render today or tomorrow. also need to add some minor details like the text at the side of the lights.

Wow, the HDRI makes all the difference. Nice work!

That and more advanced and better lighting, re-modeling of the model, textures with reflection mapping, mental ray materials, camera and a little photoshop. The reflection you can see in the metal is actually a texture on the material itself, not the HDRI background reflecting on the metal.

2nd image does not have HDRI images. But has mia materials and lights with photon emitters.

Really starting to notice the importance of good lighting.
