HELP Toribash didn't download right!
Help! My tori on linux stopped working and now it's just taking up space. I can't delete it because I don't have writing permissions . how do I change permissions with terminal?

feel the flow
Can you tell me where and how did you get your Toribash?

If you installed it from repos/or via installer this command should do the trick:

sudo apt-get remove Toribash

Though this only works if you have su(do) password.

If you just have to give Toribash folder writing permission just type cmod -w <folder path> to your terminal.

Here is example: chmod -w ~/Toribash This command would give my Toribash folder (which I have in my home folder) permission to write on that folder.

I don't know where you installed it so I can't give you (magically) working c/p command. :/

...This probably explains most problems in this community.
