finding decaps in replays
Anyone have any ideas on finding decaps in replay files.

I have tried looking at the position of joints and have not had a lot of luck. Any better ideas?

CRUSH player; joint
tells toribash to dismember a certain joint.

CRUSH 0; 0
would dismember tori's neck

Joints:
Taken from here
0 = neck
1 = chest
2 = lumbar
3 = abs
4 = right pec
5 = right shoulder
6 = right elbow
7 = left pec
8 = left shoulder
9 = left elbow
10 = right wrist
11 = left wrist
12 = right glute
13 = left glute
14 = right hip
15 = left hip
16 = right knee
17 = left knee
18 = right ankle
19 = left ankle

how to find replays that contain a decap event
That is great information.

I only wish it answered my question.

I will restate it. If you have 1000 autosaved games (replays), how would you go about finding which of those games involved having at least one player get decapped.
file manager... use google next time :P
:D
Hmm. I wonder if that would do it. *tests*

Will edit when I have results for grep.

Edit:

Using Linux/Cygwin, you can use the command:

grep -l 'CRUSH [01];.* 0.*' *.rpl
Say you wanted only replays with Tori decaps though, you could do:

grep -l 'CRUSH 0;.* 0.*' *.rpl
Or 1 for replays with Uke decaps only.

Squad Squad Squad lead?
The standardization of Toribash Squad roles may have gone too far!
