This really should have been posted in the Support section. But before Qegola or HebrewHamr comes, I'll answer.

Dismemberment is the breaking off of the joints on a Toribash fighter. If you turn off dismemberment, then the joints won't break off. The lower the dismemberment threshhold, the easier it is to dismember the fighter. I hope that answers your question. Now let's move this to the support board!
