Stuff about me:
I live in Romania, part of middle-eastern Europe and I am proud of being a romanian. I spend my time preparing for med school and playing SC2 / Toribash. I really love playing around with stuff in Photoshop CS6 and I consider myself being pretty good at making logos.

Toribash carrer / goals:
I have been playing since 2009, and made a brief 6 month pause around 2013, when I started to play League of Legends extensively. I mainly play aikido and mushu. I have around 9500 qi and I can't wait to get my 10th dan.
I used to be part of TA [Team Aikido] a while back. I am starting to get back into this game by being more active in-game and on the forums. I think UBO would be a challenge for me, and I would like to apply. I was never that good at replay making so I will try to improve with help from you guys.

There are many ways to getting into hits, but I think the most important part is your aim. For example if you are trying to get a boom you should go for parts like the glutes and upper body as there are many joints there. You can still for booms in the chest areas,but those are harder in my opinion.

Momentum is also very important, because without it your basically just hitting your opponent with a rubber ball. There are many ways of getting momentum, you can use a grab, kick the floor, etc. Momentum is also important to ghost into Uke

Ghosting is when you get your foot inside ukes body without actually doing damge to him. This is a very good way to get booms and powerful kicks punches. Since toribash uses frames, It is like tori and uke are teleporting. When you ghost, your foot is teleporting into his body causing a massive impact. Most of the time it's with your feet, but it can be done with your hand aswell. A good way to ghost is to relax your wrist or ankle(depending on which you're using) then most people would hold it when it teleports inside of uke

This part is about the types of hits you can make

Kicks are one of the best ways to dismember Uke. It is also one of the best ways to ghost into uke, and kicks usually have alot of power even when your not even grabbing, aslong as your in a good position. For example the record for the most dismemberments uses his feet to dismember uke

Punches are not as effective as feet are,but it can still get ooms and ghost. Alot of the time punches are for splits,knees, and the decap aswell. A punch can have alot of momentum like when you're in a horse stance(Yes, i'm referencing sparring don't hate plz), when you're in this position, you can easily just extend your hip, rotate your hips, with your pecs going the right diretion, and wait for the right opportunity to extend.Easy!

Slaps are basically a reverse punch in a way, as instead of extending you contract your elbow. In my opinion slaps are more effective than punches, if you look at my replays most of the "Punches" I make are actually slaps. You can contract your wrist at a certain frame to make the hit more powerful, but you can eaasily lose your wrist

Backhands are when you extend your pecs and rotate your chest with your contracted elbows and the extend the elbows to get a dismemberment(most of the time) I don't use backhands much, so I don't really know much about them, but I know the are about the same as slaps, but a bit different
