Aren't we all?

Music is art, it's not surprising that people get inspired by it.
Whenever I'm working, whether it's designing for customers or just having fun drawing, I'll listen to music.
Music often influences my designs, especially when I'm creating abstract art or when I'm playing with textures for Toribash.

This is an experimental game where I post atmospheric and melodic songs which YOU will base a head-texture on.
We'll compare the designs, try to find similarities and talk about what inspired the choices we made.
The game is made to train creativity and (hopefully) spark it.

And there are prizes, hell yeah!
Each round, the winner will receive a redesigned head made by me (or other volunteers) that they can sell.

Suggestions for songs can be sent to me via a PM.




RULES

01 Don't post your WiP nor finished head before everyone's finished.
This is to prevent copying.

02 Base the head on the song and the song alone, no references.
Obviously.

Just remember that restrictions spark creativity and you will be fine.





ROUND 01

Jon Hopkins, a legend, he inspired me to go through with this idea.
Mostly because I am aching to base something on his music.
For round one, I've chosen Open Eye Signal from the album Immunity.
I'm not going to talk about the music itself, it's on you to draw inspiration from it!
