If you are better at it than the other guy then you will get the job.
This applies for everything in life unless it's corrupt

If you really want to get more 'educated', then look at the job you think that would suit you and perhaps hire in a private tutor to get you to your highest peak in whatever genre that is. Take IQ tests along the way as well to see if you are actually improving, all of the little things count in any situation. You could also try reading books on basic knowledge, or if you are not a 'book worm' just watch documentaries on tv that would appeal to you. Good luck.
