study anatomy and gesture to get a good base.
you have ways to approach a better drawing like copying with simple geometric shapes and stick figures for pose copy, then you add muscles and everything.
In the beginning I was used tow watch sycra videos to get better fundamentals,
I also watched ctrlpaint videos to get design knowledge.

What kinda doodles? If it's just doodling whatever comes to your head, then the only advice there is to give is to just doodle whatever comes to your head..
