Hi, if you are intent on keeping the clans who have already lost in, why not change the bracket to double elimination? It means that EVERYONE can afford to lose a game, not just the people who have been eliminated in the first round, and the final result is much more accurate.

The positions of some of the clans can be altered, but this is a fairly good template to use. The first page is winners bracket, the second page is losers bracket.

After further discussion it has been determined that I'm an idiot and the league will be going back to how it was, with a minor change.

It will now be a double elimination tournament, and there will be a "Losers Bracket". If your clan loses or has already lost in the main bracket, they will be placed in the losers bracket. The clans in the lower bracket will fight and one of those clans will earn a place on the main bracket again. If you lose in the lower bracket, you will be eliminated.

This has been discussed and determined to be fairer to all clans involved since it gives a clear advantage to those clans who have won the first round.

The brackets will be posted soon and I will be posting in the clan forums again to update you all there.

Will there be a main bracket prize and an overall prize?

There is just an overall prize. Clans get through the main bracket will get more event points than the clans in the lower bracket.

They are the same event. If you win the losers bracket you play against the winner of the winners bracket in the grand finals.
I should probably add at this point a slight detail that may be subject to debate a bit later. The way I've seen this being used before is that in the grand finals the team coming from losers bracket would have to beat the winners bracket team twice. Otherwise there would be two teams that lost once, and it wouldn't necessarily provide a clear winner. It would also provide another incentive for people to not get sent into the losers brackets.

Thats actually something I was considering. Since its double elimination, the only way to be fair is to do it that way.

I think the Winners bracket should get the "Big prize" because they never lost. And the winners vs losers fight should be the Consolation prize.

I think that the clan events team will be the people deciding on what the prize is and that the clan events team will be deciding who gets the prize, based on the results of the league.
