The reddit /place project
I just though I'd share something I found interesting, its the reddit/r/place project.

over 72 hours any reddit user could fill a canvas 1000x1000 size with pixels, this is limited to 1 pixel every 5 minute for each reddit account.
This canvas had around 30-90k active users through the entirety of the 72 hours.

This whole project is an awesome showcase of teamwork, collaboration and alliances and basically the internet coming together to create something cool.

Here is a timelapse of the canvas.

It was pretty fun. Sadly I spent most of my time defending the osu! logo due to tons of griefers

I was just defending my national flag and that r/pcmasterrace logo that everyone tried to turn into swastika. Quite nice USA got their flag back at the end too
was fun being a part of norwegian flag destroying everything in its path, including 4chan and texas
