What made the WWE cool?
I used to be a big wrestling fan

I do not know why I suddenly did not find it appealing anymore :/

Could it be the bad story writing? the wrestlers that aren't good in the ring? john cena?

I remember good matches like

Edge&Rey vs Eddie&Chavo vs Kurt&Benoit

Edge&Christian vs Dudleys vs Hardys

I think it's because we've grown up and most of the wrestlers that we liked aren't on anymore.

I think a big part of it was that wrestlers we watched growing up that were pretty bad are now super-liked by people of the current era.

Like for ex; I can't stand The Miz, but everyone loves him for some reason.

Even people like John Cena get booed now, and he's pretty much been the cover model for the WWE over the last 10 years.

The marketing was good, wwe games and merchandise were lit, it had sick moves, tons of badass wrestlers and groups like DX. Mainly because, tv and pop culture is different now, wwe was the thing back then, now it seems to be losing to MMA. And ya, shitty wrestlers like Ethan Carter III.
