You aren't helping when you are copy pasting the rules. Helping is giving advice that is not already present in the stickies or giving advice in a way that enables easier comprehension than the stickies.
Instead of posting in threads quoting the stickies, you are supposed to report the post so that a moderator can help the member with what rules he may or may not be breaking and to clarify any rules the user has broken if they need to be clarified.
Posting yourself in a thread claiming to help the user completely derails the thread and makes it so the thread has no more credibility. It then becomes a useless thread that clutters up the forum. That is why you report a post for the moderators to deal with a thread that might be breaking the rules.
The most you could do is PM the user, but that would be redundant and pointless if you have reported the post. It's much faster for the post to be reported and for a mod to do all the necessary thread closings/edits/deletions that would be necessary than you trying to fix the problem without appropriate tools.
Finally, the reason you didn't get any warnings is because you blatantly broke the rules which you are supposed to have already read. If you had clearly misinterpreted the rules and tried your best to follow them or if you were a very new user, you would only get a warning. As you are completely disregarding the rules as an older user, you are getting an infraction.
If you have any further inquiries, please PM me as this thread will do nothing other than show that you aren't capable of understanding what moderators explain to you.
