So, I just got an idea for my element. Wood is the combination (As seen in Naruto) of Earth and Water to form said element. I was inspired by groot haha.

Here is my first work in progress. I know I always get the mapping wrong haha. I might go with wood and lightning or something completely different with different elements.

try painting instead of sketching(refrence my newest speed video to what i mean)
using shades instead of lines could help with concept drawing
so far the mapping looks like it would be good
i would add all the base shading next throughout the whole texture
bring depth to the head and the rest will flow to your mind as your shading
