Maybe one of my favourite shows I've seen on netflix. Not only does it have great acting and a brilliant story line is posses one of the best soundtracks I've seen in a series, you can definitely hear the time and effort that the sound designers put into this.
*If you like this you should also watch Boardwalk Empire, set in the same kinda time zone but in america.

A crime drama series starring Idris Elba as a near-genius murder detective whose brilliant mind can't always save him from the dangerous violence of his passions.

Not sure if it will be available on american/other netflix, but if it is this is 100% worth checking out. Nice soundtrack, gripping story and good acting. All you could want eh!?

At first I was sceptical, "Oh a political TV drama... great..." Although I really did get hooked on this, granted it is about a power hungry politician that manipulates and twists others for his own gain, but that is what makes this a great show. A dark humour that never ceases to to amuse me with enough of a reason to continue watching. Truly a great show, the soundtrack is not half bad either.

Sure it didn't get everything right, it was definitely rushed for instance, but it gets some things right like not insisting that the only possible context for cute girls in anime is that they be in high school. Sadly there's a lot of shows out there right now that get everything wrong, so one could do much worse than this.

I could not find this on any streaming service online so you're gonna have to be creative in your searching for it, I suggest you look at a list of anime torrent sites because yeah, if you're in the UK/Germany/any where in Europe good luck with finding a good streaming source. Dunno about America/Canada though.

One of the best shows I have watched in ages, the songs are catchy and there is never a dull moment, if you haven't watched it then you should. the show is all about gang wars, which I don't really hear a lot about from animes and there is a line of interesting characters with unique back stories that you get attached to.
