Stuff is achieved via putting work in a good gameplan and getting it done. You can go to college to learn programming, you may. Or you could spend 6 months being dedicated as hell, skimming books, solving problems, learning from pros, practicing and doing that it takes.

Pointless entertainment is none of two methods, it's something worse because it doesn't even chase my goal in that slow, regular for mortals university pace.

Yeah, pretty much
Porn.

In all seriousness though, I believe most people use it for Facebook, but, there are so many wide varieties of things to on the internet, and also a wide variety of different people with different motives and personalities, which I also feel causes an impact on how you use the internet.

In my opinion, Facebook is most used because out of all the people in the world 1.32 billion people use Facebook.

The facts speak.

If most internet users are on Facebook, and use it currently, that's what people ACTUALLY do on the internet.

Yeah, pretty much

I guess my question was, what exactly is "optimal"? Isn't that extremely objective and debatable in itself? What might be optimal for you might not be optimal for someone else. Which is why I think that pretty much any use for the internet is alright.

I disagree. We're talking about rising and living as good as we can/dream. That is optimal. Rising is optimal. Everyone know how to rise in this society. A little kid would learn in a coupel of years that isn't something smart to sit down and look at cat pictures all day. Even a kid know that isn't right to kill, to steal, and so we know what is and what isn't good for us and you should know too. So don't ask him what is optimal, ask yourself.
you are only effective for so many hours of the day.
people are more than capable of applying themselves, then finishing the day off by looking at cats.

working hard and having fun dont have to be exclusive, there is time in the day for both.

That's quite mixed

Me, I could never conjoin the two together. Either straight As, no games, no fun, all war theme with flamy background

or some 'entertainment' but no As

I've managed to get to know both people who can conjoin and a lot of people who can't

Hypothetically, tho, you could work pretty much all day and when your work capability decreases, work with lower intensity or so calledly "crawl"...

The point here is the people who isn't effective at all like... All the day lol. So, that is true, but yeah, like i said, there ain't a right answer for this, we need to fix real problems first, virtual shit is not that easy.

I still think "effective" and "real problems" are really subjective depending on the person. That just comes down to morals, and everyone has different morals. As long as you are using the internet to better yourself and using it the way you want to use it, it's fine.

Yeah, that's my opinion too. As long as they are sure that they want to do what they are actually doing, then it's fine. But that doesn't mean that it is right, just fine. As i said, we have more important stuff to worry about outside the web.
