Read before posting pls. He has already stated that he isn't using Toribash on steam.


This might work, but be wary of files you download which don't come from someone within the Toribash staff.


Download an installer for a previous Toribash version. I did a really quick search and couldn't find one, would have to look a bit more.

Here's a list of things for you to try (skip those you already tried)

1. Try running as administrator (right click > run as administrator) as suggested by zwouter
2. Reboot PC (if you haven't done this already)
3. Reinstall Toribash 5.01 (which you have already tried, so just skip it)
4. Try finding an installer for Toribash 4.95 OR Install Toribash on Steam.

tl;dr mashup of everyone's suggestion. Hopefully one of these will work.

Take note that the Toribash Steam version also has a lot of problems associated with it.

For future reference however, you can copy any version number into the following link, and get a direct download to it:
