The battery of my old one lasted about 2 minutes. The battery is always the first part which brokes I think.

lol, Just kidding. The most I can recommend is to upgrade your memory to something like 3GB, It doesnt seem like your computer is breakneck performance, so I dont think you will need much more than that.
