EHSS OF SPEHDS
Abbreviated as AoS
Ace of Spades is a first-person shooter game combined with the elements of Minecraft and the fast-paced action of Team Fortress 2. It can run on most(if not all) computers with its voxel(3d pixel) graphics. The installer is just 5.5mb.
It's 2 teams against each other. The maximum players a room can hold is 32, so its 16v16(can differ for some rooms), With the players identifying themselves as the team they are in with their color. The 2 team colors differ on the room.
3 guns, from which you can pick one, serves as your role. The Rifle for long ranged warfare, the SMG for medium ranged assaults and a Shotgun to screw your opponent's shit upside down at close range. Along with the gun you chose, you get 3 more equipments which are blocks,(to place and stuff, like in minecraft. You only have 50 blocks though, but still enough to make a wall or barricade or help with a trench or something. You can change the color too.) a spade(To break blocks. Used in digging and making trenches and tunnels or whatever. It is also a melee weapon.) and 4 grenades.
There are a variety of game modes like ctf, arena(last team standing), babel(You have to construct a ladder or tower or anything tall to reach a certain high floating platform and steal the enemy's intel which is on that platform.), zombies, assault, etc.

The reason you see different appearances of players and guns in the screenshots is because they are edited by tampering with the files(See down), the original looks of the players are at the 2nd picture.
You can edit player, gun looks by tampering with the .png and .kv6 stuff in the Ace of Spades folder by using SLAB6(Download it from
). Although other players won't be able to see your edited stuff, they'll see it as how their files are.
AoS uses a grid system for the map, with the co-ordinates like you see in Battleships and Chess. Press 'M' in-game and look at the upper and left border of the map.
Game Modes
Game Modes vary from server to server. A server can only have one game mode(This may not be true, it is only from what I have seen).
Babel
Babel is a game mode which was inspired by the story in the Bible called "Tower of Babel". The intels are usually situated on an unbreakable platform that is very high (clouds). Each team must build towers to reach the platform as quickly as possible in order to grab the intel. The player is generally not allowed to break their own team's blocks, but can destroy the other team's blocks if they are close enough to the other team's "base". However, this is usually difficult, as the opponent players spawn right next to the "base", often making it extremely difficult to get close enough to the other team so that block destruction may occur.
Capture the Flag(CTF)
Capture the Flag game mode is the very first game mode implemented to the game. This gamemode was added in Ace of Spades 0.1 and has been the most common gamemode seen on servers. The point of this game mode is to take the enemy intel(A briefcase) and bring it back to friendly command post.
Territorial Control(tc)
Capture all command posts(which look like tents) to win.
Tug Of War(TOW)
Tug of War is a fanmade game mode in Ace of Spades. It functions identically to Territorial Control, howewer to advance, you have to capture the closest command post. The team which captures all enemy command posts, wins.
Arena(arena)
Arena is a fanmade game mode in Ace of Spades. The last team standing while in Arena mode wins the game. When you die, you will not respawn until the round ends. To make the game harder, here are no command posts.
Free for All(ffa)
Free for All is a fanmade game mode in Ace of Spades. On this mode, anybody can kill anyone, and players spawn at random location on the map. Like on Arena, here are no command posts.
Infiltration(infiltr)
Infiltration is a fanmade game mode in Ace of Spades. It functions identically to Capture the Flag, except one team has to capture the intel, while other team has to defend it. In contrast to normal CTF, the Blue Team (defenders) have far less players than the Green Team (attackers). Blue Team should focus on defending their intel by repairing any damage done to their defenses and watching for greens who flank or tunnel.
Intel RPG(irpg)
Intel RPG is a fanmade game mode in Ace of Spades. It functions identically to Capture the Flag, except after you pick up/capture the intel, you get a reward.
Zombie Mode(zombie)
Zombie (aka. Zombie Mode) is a server-side pyspades script, that allows to play a new game mode called "zombies". The idea is easy, Green Team are zombies, Blue Team are humans, the teams is pitted against each other in a Capture the Flag scenario. It's mostly for people that are bored of regular AoS and want to try an alternative. It is based off the classes/modes script by Yourself. The script was originally made by Dany0.
Most of the game mode information was taken from the Ace of Spades wiki.
Game Advice
• It is recommended to get a custom scope, rather than the default one.
• When going for headshots and the enemy is far, aim a bit lower, aim for their chin as the bullet spread could just make the bullet go over their head.
• AoS isn't TF2 or UT. Jumping around while shooting is not recommended.
• Grenades don't go very far. Aim them higher.
• If playing FFA, take the time to try to see if someone has spawned behind you.
• Do not bury the intel. Enemy tunnelers can easily take them that way.
• Right click and drag across a surface with the Block to make more of them faster.
Map commands(commands may or may not work depending on the server :
'/streak' to check your own streak.
'/streak (name or #)' to check someone else's.
'/ratio' to check your own k/d ratio.
'/ratio (name or #)' to check someone else's.
The same goes for '/accuracy'.
'/votekick (name) (reason)' Votekicks someone. Number of people it takes to fully kick someone through voting depends on the number of people in the server.
'/airstrike (Co-ordinates. e.g 'A2')' Calls an airstrike on a location, to be more specific; the airstrikes look like explode-on-contact grenades raining from the sky, falling in strips.
