If someone could help me with this problem, i would love you forever. Ok, so i have a wired xbox 360 batarang controller, and im trying to use it on my pc.

However, i cant get it to work for the life of me. I plug it in, and it turns on for a second, and then it turns right back off. I have tried installing the driver from the microsoft website, but that hasnt helped at all.

I have read about some people having this same problem, but people are saying that this controller does work on pc. So i really have no idea what to do at this point.

Edit: Oh, and i have an alienware and windows 7 if that helps at all.

Try a different USB port.

Try all the ports. A port may be faulty or be a USB version incompatible with the controller.
