Ok so i own a HPG62 Notebook. And for some reason whenever i unplug the charger the CPU goes up to 100%?

For your information: My fan is a bit dodgy from and has been heating a bit all over the place.( I have a replacement fan i am putting in it soon) And also my charger has been plugged in for huuuge amounts of time. (battery could be worn out) Would those 2 contribute to my problem? And also the OS on it isn't the original..

CPU speed will drop when it's running on battery (to increase battery life, thus higher CPU usage), however 100% usage shouldn't be happening. More than likely your OS is full of shite & should be wiped/reinstalled.

You probably have some kind of power management program that is going haywire.

Try checking task manager to see which program is using your CPU.

Hmmm, well i just installed Windows 8 the other week, and it also did it on Windows 7. So it can't be that. But from what i recall i never had that issue in linux.

Well as you can see there is around 11% CPU usage. Your RAM looks like around 1gb if not less (but you can check that yourself).

You have a lot of hungry chrome tabs open, but everything seems fine.

Yeah but before it suddenly fixed itself the CPU would go up to 80-100%
