[Study] | [Headhunting Tutorial]
I think a decapitation tutorial is long over due. I want the org to come together so we can talk about the joy of ripping heads off of unsuspecting foes.
Anybody and everybody who has experience or replays to contribute, would you kindly share with us below. Leaders and council will analyze every thing and put together a well thought out tutorial on decaps in aikido.
*This OP will be updated regularly. Hopefully this project will take no longer than 2-3 weeks.
**Update: Beginning to write the tutorial my plan is to make a numbered list similar to flow with a hyperlinked replay for each number. (so please dont remove your replays here).
-----------------
The goal of this tutorial is to increase your success rate in decap attempts.
Critical Factors
There are two types of decap attacks, grip and no-grip.
No-Grip (Impact)
1. No-Grip attacks can be done with the hand, elbow, foot, etc or get even more creative.
2. Every decap attack should be focused to impact the neck joint, or as close as possible.
3. Prioritize precision to impact the neck, however if you can't hit the neck then prioritize power generation in the strike.
4. Combining every joint to work together can project more power into the decap strike.
5. Bruising
6. A fractured neck can not be decap'ed.
