About Game - ''Day of Apocalypse''
I'll explain this game to you guys and if some of you are willing to play it we can do it. It is a board game, but I can transfer it to be a forum game since only thing that is needed from you is to post actions your character will do, and I'll do the rest.

Game is played on the large map of some imaginary town we will call CITY 17. (Those who played Half Life 2 will notice the comparison ;]) Map is divided by grid and players move over the boxed spaces of that grid.
Grid is numbered so I can use X and Y variables as coordinates to randomly spawn some things on the map using simple random numerator.

Grey blocks are buildings, white lines are roads, blue stuff are rivers, green stuff are woods.

By default players are moving on the map by one space which simulates one block of the city. Game is played in turns and during one turn player can move only once.
On this image you can see in which directions player can move and some icons that represents blocks of interest:



That red figure in the center is the icon of the player. Every player have different colored icon. Yellow boxes with letters W,E,S,N are only directions in which player can move, W for west, E for east, S for south and N for north. There is no diagonal movement!

Red space presents RUBBLE. During some apocalyptic events city blocks will get destroyed and turned into RUBBLE. When player have to move across the RUBBLE they lose one turn. RUBBLE is slowing down your movement, so AVOID IT, if you can...

Icon with the CAR is a CAR LOOT. On that space you can hot-Wire the car and use it to move faster through town. CARS can only move on road blocks and they move 2 spaces!

Icon with the GUN is a GUN SHOP. This is where you can pick some weapons. Weapons are used when you have to cross over blocks that are in possession of some fractions. Let's say for instance that ZOMBIE OUTBREAK has happened. Every city block that is overtaken by zombies will turn color (usually dark purple or black). If you want to move through these blocks you need weapons, otherwise you will be turned into zombies or killed by them.

So, tl dr: GUNS - I can walk through shit, NO GUNS - I'll die in shit.

Last icon wit red cross is a HOSPITAL. In hospitals you can pick up some health packs. That is the item (ONE ITEM) that can be used once and it can save you if you get hurt.
For instance, if you enter into zombie territory without weapon you will be saved by this health pack. But, if you continue to walk through the same territory you will die.
Or, if the blast of some explosion caught you (happens on same space that you occupy) you will be saved. But if you get caught in the blast again you will die. So health packs will grant you that one chance...

HOSPITALS also are used as evacuation spots in some scenarios. In the ZOMBIE OUTBREAK scenario, every hospital is used by military to extract civilians with helicopters outside of the town. So if you manage to get to the nearest hospital before it is destroyed or overtaken by zombies (or some other apocalyptic events) YOU ARE SAVED!

Some things on the map (well, almost all apocalyptic things) will occupy more than one space while they move and they can make rubble with their shear presence. For instance, here is the apocalyptic event - KAIJU ATTACK (Godzilla)



As you can see KAIJU (Godzilla) is taking 4x4 spaces automatically turning city blocks to rubble! When Godzilla moves he will occupy another 4x4 spaces in W, E, S or N direction.
You can see that you can't outrun this monster. All you can do is prey that he will not go toward your direction during his random movements.
Also Godzilla can fire bolt of lighting that is going in straight line from his head and destroys eight blocks in the direction his head is turned! Godzilla usually fires this bolt when he is fightingo ther Kaiju (monsters) or when the military is blocking his movement.

Next thing that players can take before game starts are ABILITIES. They are presented with cards and every ability has some + (good stuff) and some - (bad stuff). Like on this example:



Btw, this card works only if you have weapon.

Other cards that players will get during game (after apocalyptic event starts) are LUCK or BAD LUCK cards. After every SIX TURNS every player will randomly get one card from the pile of these good or bad cards. They are executed instantly and they can help you or really fuck up your day.

And that is all you need to know about this game...

NOW ABOUT SOME PLAY ISSUES:


In the beginning we choose the map of the town (in this case we will play map I've made just for this occasion). Then every player chose one ABILITY CARD or doesn't take any at all. Your choice.

After that players decide how many apocalyptic events will start during the game. Minimum is ONE (very easy) maximum is EIGHT (nightmare, no one ever survived eight!).

Then they chose scenario. We can even make one just for this occasion. Scenarios are things players must try to do before apocalyptic events starts. Sometimes it is just plain thing like: get from location A to location B, and sometimes they can be more complex like: get to the location A and perform some work B there with another player C for D amount of turns.

Thing is, after 12 TURNS apocalyptic events will start in random order one after another, timed between each other by 3 turns. Where will you be in that moment on the map, where they will start, will you finish your scenario task by that or be in the middle of it? GOD KNOWS! It is so unpredictable and the mayhem that starts after twelve turn is so intense that every plan you might have for survival will tun into dust AND YOU WILL NOT BE PREPARED in any way to deal with it.

And that is the beauty of this game.

As apocalyptic events start your scenario will change according to it.
Every event has some directives of execution. For instance:

In the event of ZOMBIE OUTBREAK, all roads that lead out of town will be blocked by MILITARY, and all HOSPITALS will became EXTRACTION POINTS. If you get to hospital, you are saved. Games end for you and you survived. If you try to leave town by road exits you will have to have two things: CAR and WEAPONS because you will have to fight MILITARY there, or you can exit town by going off the map that is not road, in that case run toward the closest end of map. ZOMBIE OUTBREAK will consume the city block by block in every turn. It starts slow, like one 3x3 purple block, then, every turn randomly it will move and infect more and more of the town. ZOMBIES don't make RUBBLE but blocks will change colors int purple stating that those parts of town are now full of ZOMBIES. You can move through this blocks ONLY IF U HAVE WEAPONS. Infection moves in random direction and soon town became just one purple territory! If it gets to HOSPITAL it will be consumed and that hospital will no longer be evacuation spot!

If the Godzilla attacks town, MILITARY will spawn blockades in the W,E, S, N directions 8 spaces from the location where Godzilla spawned. Godzilla will move in random directions and if he gets close to MILITARY he will fire his lightning bolt toward them causing more destruction. Also, POLICE will close all BRIDGES and spawn EVACUATION POINTS in 3 places in town.
So, again, if you get to these locations you will be evacuated and saved. If you try to go through MILITARY blockade you will be DETAINED by them (immobilized, and you don't want to be immobilized, trust me). If you try to cross the bridges you will be detained by POLICE (again immobilized). If you use weapons against MILITARY or POLICE their forces will spawn on some random location and go toward you to BUST YOU in straight line toward your location!

So, as you can see, many things can happen and they will happen, and your life will get complicated and complicated and complicated until you eventually die by some thing.

Those that survive DAY OF THE APOCALYPSE will have some good stories to tell their grandsons and granddaughters. XD

GAME IS OVER WHEN ALL PLAYERS ARE EITHER DEAD OR OUT OF TOWN.
