Toribahs 4.4 (beta4)
Toribash 4.4 beta4 (OSX, Win)
New Features:
- Replay speed (control with ,.)
- Fixed pausing replay and pressing replay to play properly at the speed previously set
- Added blood removal in reverse replay option
- Added vertical scroll bar to options menu when game height is below options height
- Added loading replay can change replay speed immediately
- Added caching blood particle, blood stain, hair
- Removed replay speed from hair step

New options:
- added flag option
- new hair styles

Bugs:
- Fixed unicode endian on osx
- Fixed playing of sound in replay cache
- Fixed limb color injury in replay cache
- Fixed minimum resolution when setting with resolution option command

New in Beta4
- Fixed replay up to 4096 frames
- Added reflection for hair
- Added hair raytrace on bodies

Replay speed still goes to .11 sometimes

and I realized this a while back but never commented, it would be nice if the replay speed slowed down flames as well

Every replay now crashes at 4195 frames instead of 4095.

Some replays still make the game crash when you try to load them.
We're still kids in buses longing to be free.
Jesus, how long do you make your god-damn replays?
The only thing I've found is that rarely the game will experience a runtime error, forcing it to shut-down.
Haven't see any problems with replay speed, shift+p or replay length.

I don't have a replay with those many frames done.
I have a file that has 10000 frames though, and sometimes I leave it running so that's how I found the error for the first time. Now I just scan for it since I know it might be there and since it's relevant for hampa to perfect the beta.

Ideally, when testing a beta you need to do wacky stuff to spot the errors that might be there.

This is the replay that's been tripping out my toribash. It appears to me that it only happens with MP replays. I haven't found this problem with any replays I made in 4.4. Solely that and a couple other mp replays that I deleted.

Actually, any replay that is normally loaded crashes for me.

Sometimes the game crashes as I open it. Or well, it doesn't crash. It just shuts down. Then I have to open it again, and it works fine.

Alot of the replays are very laggy. (If I try to edit them nothing happends and they just stand there, unable to watch or edit the replay)
