Laptop/Game help needed!
Hey guys,

so you guys are more into gaming and requirements

so i bought a new laptop some hours before

an Asus one

standard i3 intel processor

1TB winchester

4GB DDR3 RAM

Nvidia geforce GT 720m 2GB memory

so like this

i bought it for ~like 700 dollars but i dont care about it was overpriced or not cause i got it from my poker winnings

So the Question is: What kind of games could i run with it?

My always wanted to try games are:

- Cod 4, 5 mw3 and such amazing cod versions not the latest ones cuz they seems too modern to me

- Farcry 3

-Crysis3

-Hawx 2

-Gta IV

-Fifa13-14

thats all i always wanted to try maybe some more with the same requirements i think

so could i run them not on ultra great version but without any lag?

and i would like some great suggestions about what could i try and what are your favourites which i can run on it

Thanks for your help

(im still on my old laptop which was like 7 years old, toribash and cod1 for ever)

so i couldnt see canyourunit yet thats why i made this thread
That's a terrible laptop for $700. You'll be able to run FIFA, GTA IV, Farcry 3(on very low), and CoD. Crysis would probably run at 20fps or so. Depending on the clock speed of your i3, your performance on each game with differ. Assuming it's 2.5+, you should be okay to run these games.

If you want my recommendation, I'd advise you to return that and purchase this for $800: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-V3...dp/B00K2O4S0W/ While this one costs $100 more, it will be leagues ahead of the one you own now.

Here is a list of benchmarks for the GPU in your laptop:

Here is game play of GTA IV; the user has very similar specs to yours:

My advice is to simply get a desktop, I personally think that people don't really need laptops for gaming purposes when going outside, I would recommend installing games like Candy Crush on your Phone so you wont feel so stressed after work, if however, you use a laptop for other purposes as well, you may want to invest more into your bank account and buy a better computer, don't get ticked off by price, get the ones that have the specs.

You are lucky to (theorectically) win a laptop.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

nah its not for games btw i simply bought this laptop for university, but intil it starts i need something to lose my stress
Buy a Razer Laptop. Here's the website for their laptops.
