[Vids]How To Use Freecam
I liek to think I have a rep as being fucking awesome with freecam. Now you can too. Originally done for Exie on #sigma.

[02:15] <Warcry> k
[02:15] <Warcry> buckle the fuck up, exie
[02:15] <Warcry> basically, hit 2 to go into freecam
[02:15] <Warcry> a and d move it sideways
[02:16] <Warcry> w and s move it fowards and backwards
[02:16] <Warcry> q and e move it up and down
[02:17] <Warcry> shift+ a and d or w and s pan the camera
[02:17] <Warcry> or just right click and drag, like me
[02:17] <Warcry> k sets a keyframe
[02:17] <Warcry> i don't know if you've used tweening in Flash
[02:17] <Warcry> if you have, it's exactly like that
[02:17] <Exie> A couple of times in school
[02:18] <Warcry> pause the replay on the first frame
[02:18] <Warcry> move your camera to where you want it
[02:18] <Warcry> hit k to set a keyframe
[02:18] <Warcry> this will make the camera be in that exact spot on that frame when you hit replay
[02:19] <Warcry> unpause the replay and move it ahead however many frames you want
[02:19] <Warcry> move the camera and hit k again to set a position
[02:19] <Warcry> i usually do 10 frame intervals
[02:19] <Warcry> repeat this until you are satisfied and hit r
[02:19] <Warcry> the replay will play with the framing applied
[02:19] <Warcry> that's how it will look on the video
[02:20] <Warcry> if you're happy with it, record it
[02:20] <Warcry> if not, hit ctrl + k
[02:20] <Warcry> that will clear the keyframes
[02:20] <Warcry> if it bugs up and doesn't clear them, close the replay
[02:21] <Warcry> there is no way to edit keyframes with the default freecam
[02:21] <Warcry> so if you fuck up, you have to start over
[02:21] <Warcry> THERE
[02:21] <Warcry> THAT IS YOUR TUTORIAL
infamous
It's not really tutorials material, a C/P'd convo from IRC.

Could you make screenshots and make it organized like the other tutorials instead of having it in IRC format?
Do it for my ocd.
T1cux: clan have eggs.
You could add that key frames get saved in the replay. If you do not save the replay after adding the key frames, you loose everything.

You also didn't mention how you can record your camera movements when you watch a replay. I think the key is "i" or "o". Not as nice as using key frames though.
