If its down to the finals and your opponent quits at the right time (replay/before the final match) he will auto win and he gets the prize :o

No, you have to leave when the replay before the final match is going on to get the TC.
What you said is something different.

no he's saying that if the opponent he's facing spectates before his final match (preferably you) he will win the TC instead of the system giving you the TC. This is because since the match never started it never registered as a technical loss.
