So i've got quite a good budget,

Really i can spend anything from under 4k Usd.

Want a top tier computer since i play alot of high end games that require alot of power and graphics rendering or whatever you say.

However, i'm really bad at computer building n stuff so don't really have any clue where to start, so would really apreciate some advice n stuff.

Anywho, For the games i play/ are going to play when released
-Fallout 4 (Main reason for new Pc)
-Cs Go
-MGS- The Phantom Pain
-The Witcher 3
-Just Cause 3
-The Division
- AC Syndicate
-Bla bla, pretty much everything that's out/ that will come out in the near future and looks fun.

-A pisston of flashy ish games that i atm do at Ultimate and stuff.

And a bunch of other stuff that i play now and then and would like a better and smoother experience with.

Since like, 2 or 3 years ago now i bought a desktop finished, an alienware x51

I7 processor and gtx970 bla bla.

It did the job perfectly up untill now when more demanding games get released so really wanted to upgrade.

Anywho, i've blabbered along for a while, gimmie your advice plez

Well, give the sticky a quick read first: http://forum.toribash.com/showthread.php?t=251490

First I'll say that I think Witcher 3 will be the most demanding game out of that bunch.

Basically before I suggest anything it depends on what resolution and framerate targets you want to hit (I'm assuming you want to play on the highest graphics settings by the way). A GTX 980 will scrape you 10-20 more FPS than 970, I would say it won't even hit acceptable levels at 1080p to be honest. If you were to move to SLI (2 cards) then you would be able to manage 2560x1440 at reasonable FPS, but 3840x2160 would be still out of reach - you would need to go for Titan X, even 3x980's won't cut it (and even then, probably 2 at least).

But remember that Witcher 3 is an incredibly heavy game, compared to Fallout 4 on 2560x1440 a single 980 will handle 78 fps average, whereas in Witcher 3 you will hit barely 40fps. If you are aiming for 2560x1440 or 2840x2160 in Witcher 3, then it would be extreme overkill in any other game.

Can you post the full specs of your current desktop? It might be worth upgrading it rather than rebuying.

By the way, even if you do want to play Witcher 3 at 3840x2160 @ 60Hz then you would probably only need to burn $2-3k at max I would say. If you ignore Witcher and go for Fallout 4 as your benchmark, then $1-2k is all it would take. If you decide you don't care about the penis measuring contest and just go for what is playable rather than what is toppest of top tier of graphics, then around $1k if not less (CS GO is the only core game you listed, and it can be played on basically anything, a $300 computer will play it fine!).

A 980 can reach 60fps in Witcher 3 at 1080 Max Settings. I own a pair myself, and have run benchmarks on 1080, 2560x1440 and 3440x1440. On 1440 a single 980 I got about 48-49fps average. SLI 980s however, easily reached over 60fps on 3440x1440.

Honestly though, it's just one game, but if really want to play Witcher 3 at max setting at 60fps, a 980 will do the job just fine.
Thanks the both of you,

A little confused at bits but kinda getting somewhere.

A last questions.
Would'nt mind getting a full list recomendation of parts to buy to make a desktop that can handle pretty much anything for the prise of around 4k.

Not in a rush as i'm gonna get my friend with me and build it in late december as he has built other ones.

At what resolution though? 1080, 1440 or 4k? Do you want peripherals included?
4k.

And peripherals=?
(I wasn't kidding when i said i know jack shit about computers)

Kyure I've never heard of anyone being able to run Witcher 3 maxed with just a 980, here are some benchmarks:
http://wccftech.com/witcher-3-initial-benchmarks/
http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages..._review,5.html
http://www.techspot.com/review/1006-...rks/page4.html

If you really want to play at 4k then even 2x980 in SLI just won't cut it. Both guru3d and techspot find SLI 980s very lacking (and I doubt 3 will). In this case Titan X is your only real option. If you really want to hit 3840x2160 @ 60fps then Titan X in SLI is the only way to do it, and even then they will struggle. Now you can turn down settings if you want, which will make it a lot easier, but if you want maxed everything then Titan X SLI is the only way.

Now, once again, we are talking about witcher 3 here, a notoriously poorly optimized game, with a setup that can do 20fps in Witcher 3 you will hit 600fps in CS GO.

Example base build:
i7 5820k $390 + NH D15 $90
MSI X99S SLI Plus $230
16GB DDR4 Ram $90
512gb M.2 SSD $400 (upper bound, there's lots of brands)
Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 11 (850/1000/1200W depending on final build) $200-$300

So that's something like ~$1400 before adding graphics card(s). This is obviously pretty high end, if you wanted to cut it back then you could drop the SSD down to 256 gb (save $200), drop down to 1151 socket (i5 6600k + ASUS Z170 = $400, saving $230), drop back the HSF to NH U12S (save $30), drop back from 16 to 8gb RAM (save $45), drop back the PSU from top tier to second or third tier (eg ANTEC EDGE, save $150).

Depending on GPU choice:
GTX 980: $500-600
Titan X: $800-1000

If you want to do 1920x1080 then 2x 980 or 1x titan X.
If you want to do 3840x2160 then at least 2x titan x, I don't think 3x 980 will cut it.
