Hey there,

This small tutorial will explain how to report someone.

Forgive me if it has already been done.

1. Reporting Ingame

a) Double accounters/Farmers

If you catch players double accounting, the first thing you have to do is to take a screenshot (F8 ).

After that, host the screenshot (which is the lastest picture of you Screenshot folder located in your Toribash Installation Path) on an Image Hoster (or whatever it is called ; http://imageshack.us ).

Once you are done with hosting the picture, PM an administrator (or a ToriAgent) with the name of the double accounter, the server name, and few details about him & the screenshot.

You can also get on IRC and message an administrator (or a ToriAgent) if you want.

b) Spammer, flamers, racists...

First of all, take screenshots of the player spamming, flaming, or being racist. Once you have enough screenshots/proofs, tell the player that what he's doing is illegal. If he continues, keep taking screenies.

As usual, host your screenshot(s), and PM an administrator or a ToriAgent with the name of the player, the name of the server and the screenshot(s).

Getting on IRC is also allowed.

c) Illegal Server

The first thing you should do is to tell him that the server is illegal. If he doesn't listen to you, then go to the Multiplayer Screen, put your mouse cursor on the illegal server and press the Print Screen button on your Keyboard. Get on Paint (Shell > mspaint), paste the screen (Ctrl+V) and save the picture somewhere (on your desktop, for example) as a PNG file (or JPEG, but not BMP). Host the picture, then PM a ToriAgent.

2. Reporting on the Forum

If you see an illegal post (pr0nz, advertising, racism, flaming, spamming or whatever...), press the Report button, which is located in the bottom-left hand corner of the post.

The sickening thing is support will continue to get posts whining about scammers/hackers etc because people are too lazy to read things.
