Just a couple basic questions...
Hi, i'm relatively new to tb and require some help.

1. What exactly is qi and how do I earn it?

2. How do boosters work? Do you buy just some tc, or do you get an extra monthly income of tc(in detail please)

3. Any tips on wushu strategies?(limbs to move, etc)

4. Is it really possible to get tons of tc without buying it? Can I get a face decal soon without buying tc? (i'm a barely a blue belt.)

5. Can I make my own textures and is it recomended to do so?

6.I just got blue belt, but can't do wushu to save my life. Am I behind in skill?(new to fighting relaxed)

If you can answer any of these questions, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.
1. Qi is games played, you earn it by playing. If you've played multiplayer 100 times, you should have 100 qi, etc.

2. If you buy a booster, you get more TC per win than usual. Normally, you get 10 TC in static servers and no TC in private servers. With a booster you'll get more TC, everywhere. Amount depends on the type of booster.

There are different ways to earn toricredits.

1) Buy toricredits and boosters - it costs real life money, but is the most effective way. You also get a lot of free promo items that you can use.

2) Win tourneys - the promobot will advertise them every once in a while. Sometimes you don't even need any real skill to win them, just luck will do.

3) Make and sell art - textures, signatures, avatars, custom toribash menus, whatever. Make them and sell them.

4) Of course win games in official servers, which gets you 10 TC per win.

5) Check out the events board, people make different competitions there - art, replays, etc. Sometimes it's just creative stuff. Prizes can be pretty big there.

5. Yes you can, tutorial - http://forum.toribash.com/showthread.php?t=63013
If you like your textures, go ahead and make them yourself, if you don't and prefer some high quality work, you can order some from more experienced artists.

6. No. Practice makes perfect. Most of the blue belts don't relax at all. Even though relaxing is a great thing to do, starting with it right in the beginning and multiplayer might be a little too hard. You could try practicing in singleplayer.

1. gahhh

2. Toribash 3.8 (not beta).. Go to toribash.com, press download and there you go.

3. Flames. You can buy some from the market subforum. If you want to make your own flames, buy a flame forger from the boosters section for 25$

4. Turn on shaders. To do this, from the menu go to options - setup - shaders
Something like that..

the shader part. when you cant turn it on is your graphics card fault. you need a certain graphics card to have shaders, fluid blood etc.

and that fireshoulders part. he got them at the flame forge (it costs money/TC)
