wireless card wont work
After taking out a wireless card from my moms desktop, I put it in one of the pci slots
of my desktop and when I turn it on, wireless doesnt work and I cant find it in device manager. Is there something I did wrong?

I have windows 7 x86

I have also installed wefi and it says that the wireless card is disabled but when I put in the card to the other desktop, wireless works fine.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

If your taking about the computer yes, oh and when I turn on my computer, the light on the wireless
card doesnt light up.

EDIT: Just found it was a broadcom 801.11g wireless adapter. So is a wireless card and a wireless adapter the same thing?

Im such a noob.
