I get what you're saying, but if I outline it with too much detail, they'll know what to look out for. They'll give us what we want to hear instead of what they're actually like.

sorry to invade here but aikido does have a point twoards this test. this one should stay Secret. They should have to answer as truthfully as they do and know about what there asked.

Yea, but how are you going to determine if they are forum worthy unless you ask them to show proof. Have it that they must make a decent thread, The personality pack isnt just how they act but how they are forum wise.

The only one that really needs to be mentioned is the forum functions then.

For that I've been pm'ing them, getting them to meet me in the IRC and sometimes asking them about the forum.

There usually isn't any problem with how well they know the forum, which is why it's never mentioned.
