my friend wants to buy a laptop and asked me if I know a good one. He is a student, so preferrably nothing expensive. He does use it to play games on, though these aren't graphicly the hardest games. He said it would be if the videocard wasn't sucky, but he don't know if it is. RAM doesn't matter, he'll put an sd-card in.

Processor is excellent, Ram is average if it is at least DDR2( can't read german), however if it's DDR3 then it's great, and HDD is below average. Vid card isn't so great, but it can work. Matlab, AUTOCAD or whatever he'll use it will work good on it. If he can get more ram then it's perfect for his intent.

There are lots of series to purchase specially it depends on the purpose of use of your laptops, I would like to prefer dell which is one of the most used and trusted brand in laptops
