This is a modern war story, with guns and all those cool things.
What be the rules?
Use common sense when playing.
Listen to GM's. We reserve the right to do whatever we see fit, as you should know.
Do not complain about the decisions made by the GM's.
I and the other GM's have all right to remove you if it is needed.
What kind of era is this set in, pray tell?
This is a modern combat setting, so you can expect guns, explosives, rockets, planes, boats, etc. Think Modern Warfare in terms of era. There is one current race, being humans.

Faction:Deserter, Originally Mallorean
Age and other stuffs: 27
Description(being appearance, personality): Grey tinted brown hair. Blue eyes. cold mildly psychotic personality.
Specialization(Being something like Marksman, etc.): Badass. (Hand to hand. Marksmanship. Ammo making. Infiltration. Not being seen. Silent killing. Gunsmithing)
Background Info: He had no childhood he was raised successfully to be a super soldier. Has only one person he has grown attached to and that is primarily because they trained together, Zakath. He was sent out on an assignment and took the opportunity to desert due to disagreeing with the war.
Equipment(Will have be approved, and should be related to your specialization. e.g. A sniper rifle for a demolitions expert will be redundant): 50 caliber custom sniper rifle. 45 caliber custom pistol. KA-BAR knife. Garote Wire. Small electrical tool kit. Ghillie suit. Long range binoculars. Sniper's Bible.
General Abilities, Strengths, etc.: Insanely smart, Only one who can out calculate him is Zakath. Strong due to daily workouts. Agile.

Faction: Mallorean
Age and other stuffs: 19
Description(being appearance, personality): Young and fairly innocent. Light tan, brown hair. Muscular from basic training. Has and follows morals given to him by his family, and is fairly optimistic, possibly due to his young age. Charismatic, but isn't used to pressure. Very loyal, and somewhat naive. Fairly intelligent.
Specialization(Being something like Marksman, etc.): Light infantry. Just got out of basic training.
Background Info: Almost typical suburban life. Loving family, wealthy inheritance, no siblings, plenty of friends, good education. Decided to join the military at 18.
Equipment: Typical body armor. SCAR-L with ACOG and grip. Glock 22 pistol. Other standard light infantry equipment (MRE, extra mags, tag, radio, combat knife, etc)
General Abilities, Strengths, etc.: He's a good shot and has endurance. Can be brilliant at times. Recently joined the military and got out of training. Psychologically speaking, handles stressful situations fairly well.

Faction: Mallorean
Age and other stuffs:28
Description(being appearance, personality): Slightly tall, about 5'8", slim. Well built and fit, but not very strong. Light skin, short black hair. Introvert, has no close friends thus far, but will work with whoever he is assigned to work with. Ever since he joined the military, he devoted everything to becoming a great serviceman, but his personal life was diminished to almost being non-existent. It can be assumed he had a troubled past.
Specialization(Being something like Marksman, etc.): Pilot, but can be deposed to other special ops tasks if needed
Background Info: As said earlier, he has had a troubled past, so much so that it can affect his state of mind in the present. The rest will be told ingame.
Equipment(Will have be approved, and should be related to your specialization. e.g. A sniper rifle for a demolitions expert will be redundant): Pilot, so whatever aircraft he is assigned to for the mission at hand. He carries around a personal emergency kit to any aircraft he uses though. It has a suppressed pistol, a butterfly knife, a magnesium striking bar, a packet of wet fire, and a compass.
General Abilities, Strengths, etc.: Very skilled in air combat, due to his unconventional tactics, quick thinking, and resourcefulness. When the duty calls, he can be a reliable ground operations soldier.
Name: Zachary Taylor
Faction: Mallorean
Age and other stuffs: 22
Description(being appearance, personality): Quite young looking, has a light stubble on his face all of the time, and always worked out in high school, which has formed his body to be quite muscular, but not extremely. He has short brown hair, and dark brown eyes. He looks like a normal guy if you see him walking past you, but is quite handsome if you get the chance to meet him. He keeps to himself, but likes to go to the bar a lot, and is a very courageous man.
Specialization(Being something like Marksman, etc.): He has been with training with the Military since he was 18 to be a Marksman. He is also pretty good at hand-hand combat, but not much else. Can shoot any type of gun, but isn't that great and wouldn't know how to clean/fix anything but his long ranged weapons.
Background Info: Regular life growing up, single child, and mother was killed in a car accident when he was 12. He let it get to him a lot, and during high school, he hardly payed attention. He graduated high school, and a month after graduation, he turned 18. He instantly went to boot camp, and learned all he could about becoming a professional marksman. Aside from this, he hasn't been on any real missions yet, besides going scouting with a few other sniper trainees.
Equipment: Gillie Suits mostly, depends on terrain. If anything, very very light armor that blends in with the area he is at. Prefers the CheyTac M200 sniper rifle, but has been trained to use at least 5 different snipers, including the Timberwolf c14, and the McMillan Tac-50. He may choose to bring a Barrett 50. Cal to missions that prove dangerous. Usually carries around a .45 ACP. Other standard light infantry equipment (MRE, extra mags, tag, radio, combat knife, etc)
General Abilities, Strengths, etc.: Has been trained enough as a sniper to hit any target he's asked to hit that is in range. Great endurance and ability to survive in risky situations. Not the best with other weapons, but has taken many survival courses during his free summers off, so he could survive if the situation became him being stranded somewhere. He is very knowledgeable about things, and never let things get the best of him. He is a very kind person, but no one has really talked to him since he's joined the military.
Them factions?
Currently, we have two different factions. The Anterian and the Mallorean. Their two countries have been peaceful neighbors for 100's of years, but recently, a change in power in Mallorea has signaled an end to this peace. The new Mallorean emperor has his sights set on conquering Anteria and then the surrounding area. He has begun to mobilize his troops, and is amassing his armies for an attack. Anteria, also, is making preperations for the inevitable.
The Malloreans are firm people, with a deep work ethic. They are deadly fighters, because of their strong dedication, although their country is not as far advanced in weaponry as the Anterians are. They are generally light skinned, depending on the area of the country they live in. They have hardset faces, reflecting their attitude towards duty.
The Anterians, on the other hand, are a less strict people, focused on the arts, science, and technology innovation. They are more advanced when it comes to weapons and but less skilled in their use. They are also light skinned, and have generally softer looking faces.

Write up your
char sheet and PM it to me, Thorn, and Enzu. After that, come into the #magnus channel. We'll discuss anything that needs to be discussed, and when we find it suitable, it'll be added, and you'll be able to start playing.
Now, to begin, I'm going to wait for around 8 people to join before starting up.
