I refuse to watch Game of Thrones. Mainly because i'm 5-6 seasons behind.

There is a pretty simple solution to that you know

just watch the first 4 seasons in a span of 3 days

You're 5 seasons behind to be precise. This last season has just ended so it might take roughly a year (or more, dare I say) until the next one. In that time you can actually read all the books released so far, not only watch the episodes. That is, considering you are interested in the show, if you don't like it I can very well understand.
