"It took me a year to learn". It shouldn't be hard to learn, that's the easiest way to drive new players away. It should be easy to learn but hard to master. No one will want to spend a year trying to learn how to even play the game.

And if you're sad that all your years of practice are going to waste because then you wouldn't have the advantage of experience to beat noobs with. that makes you nothing more than a sad selfish mentally challenged player with low confidence because you don't believe you can keep up with other players if they started playing at the same time as you.
What is a skill game if you take the skill out of it? If someone has put 1000 hours of their time into a game, they should be able to be someone who has only put in 50, correct? Even then, if its a skill game that person who has only played 50 still has a slight chance if they are skilled. So please explain how someone is a "sad selfish mentally challenged player with low confidence" because they are sad that they wasted 1000 hours on a game that has become completely unrecognizable?
i'm seriously getting tired to read the same salty "sunk time" argument, over and over again
game is about moving how you want, not about one specific type of controls
