I just wonder why some clans ask for 50 posts before you can join, if the forum is just there beacause it "awesome"

It's an easy thing to judge someone by and is usually semi-effective

mostly to show you have forum experience

The game is really fun and all, but it can get boring. The forums is a community. You can meet friends and have fun here too. Not just in the game. You can do that ingame too, but without fighting. Plus, you get toricredits here the easiest. I did not mention clans either. You can get a clan, fight another one, it is cool. That is my reason why i get on the forums.

clans dont like it when you dont post. thats the main reason i do every once in a while

You see i dont get this for every clan you need more posts and forum activity than in game expirience.I would realy like it if you didnt need posts to join clans

That's to know if you are active or not. Clans do not want inactive people.

The reason for posting isn't always because of clan requirements.
There are other ways of expressing the fact that you have experience.
I.E. IRC, In-Game, etc.
It's just because, for the majority of the forums.
It's as simple as that.
