You can seriously make things with gimp and join the community,
It is not hard at all.

i dont discriminate, i am an artist and i use various utilities from both gimp and photoshop.
therefor i am a gimp user

How long have you been using gimp?: i have it in my computer for last 4 years but i started using it seriously since the last six months
What do you use gimp for?: editing,making misc art like trails,GUIs,flame particles,etc,making clan banners and stuff and also to help and make people happy
What do you do best in gimp?: since i am not an expert and i am still learning,there is nothing i can do best in gimp.all my work is average i would say
