Samule - Meh nice. Maybe just add more of "you" in it
latenitekid - wtf? Paint?!
Zinkon - Blending options ain't meant to be abused, but they are fun
JDawg - Hey looks like you actually did some work! Good job, keep it up
ZeSquared - Motion blur is fun But be flexible, use more advance methods
Zinkon - Nice, hard to read the blue text, not much effort put into it but it's nice.

My motion blur was only on one part of one avatar.
I'll withhold my comments on anyone else's attempt simply because it doesn't really matter. Kai will decide.

Your steps to your avatar:
1) google for Sephiroth.
2) The first result is http://www.finalfantasytr.com/artwor...oth-kalite.jpg
3) Add text
4) Duplicate text layer , rasterize the copy
5) motion blur the copy
Please note I'm not trying to put you down or anything just make you realize that hard work is good.
If you want I can teach you photoshop for free. But not gimp....
