Tail and the mane didn't cut properly when u took it from the background of w/e u found it on. Did you hand cut it with the lasso tool or did you just use the magic wand tool lol? Magic wand never properly picks anything out right, u have to lasso tool to get some parts cut right. Even then it doesn't always look perfect, but that's the best way I know how to do it.

Personally I prefer pen tool
I heard that Using RGB Channels for extracting works well.
In this picture I simply used eraser

Haven't tried using RGB channels but that seems like it would work very well. Are you planning on redoing the picture with better editing or just moving onto the next project?

I think I will move onto the next project. I have decided to try new techniques and check Photoshop capabilities

nice. i can do that effect (tryed with my tori a while ago), it's pretty simple, the most difficult part is to cut out the horse =)
