If you feel you have the patience and a good enough idea for a set, I say go for it. But remember you'll want to have a constant idea in mind before you lay things down or it will slowly unravel until you're just laying meaningless lines trying to get it done. Do sets because you want to, not because you have to, and they'll end up much nicer in the end.

I like how it's started so far, if you can give the robot look a new polish, so to speak, it'll end up nice

I think turning it into A set is a great idea. I don't think you should go as far as putting joint textures into it though.

as sexy as it is, the eyes dont do it for me.

Yeah im going to be reworking the eyes very soon, they no longer match the theme of the head, so that will be fixed to look better soon
