Nabi Players' Choice: week47
Hey all.
please select the mode of tournament u want for the week 47 Competition.
If u select Environment mode please choose 1 of the following types next to the option u selected.
This 24th November 2007 0700GMT (24th November 0300EDT/New York),

Your Choice
:After 80min... the player with the most wins will be the winner
:In the finals, first player to register 4 wins is the outright WINNER
:It is not a win if your opponent is AFK or disconnected
:AFKs players will not be allowed to further compete in this competition
:Number of clients for the server depends on Hampa, myself or Shogan
:It is the discretion of the Officials as to allow disconnected players to continue in the competition
:If you spec halfway through a bout, it is poor sportsmanship and may result in a subsequent tourney ban
:Once the Tournament starts it will be put into lockdown!!, so be there before it begins.
There is no need to sign up. Just show up and fight!!
Those who make racist comments, spam, use caps-lock constantly and over-swear, especially at the officials, risk getting kicked!
Please be patient as the server can be rather slow at times and it may seem that the officials aren't doing anything.
The prize for this competition is Custom Textures

In what way does a game-mode like freestyle, that actually takes skill to play, suck more ass than one that does not take skill to play, such as joust?
I honestly cannot see the skill in repeating the same move 30 times in a row.
From what I can see, that kick that you spam with has killed joust, and degraded it to a level where it is no longer playable.
Now, only the people who are lame enough to use it will actually have a chance of winning, in any joust tournament.
This reminds me a lot of the death of sumo, when the X-Punch was created.

their are other decent moves in jousting other than the "focker". but the thing is most people suck. any time you want i will tell you exactly how to use the "focker" and you can try and win, maybe then you will see it isn't just the move that gives you an auto-win, that is does take skill, and understanding of what what the other person will do.

When you can get that ratio from anyone in freestyle, you can tell me that it is more skill based.
