By trail of fire do you mean something along the lines of an Oil Slick?
The missile would probably fall under weaponry.
And I believe vehicle customization has already been suggested.

i mean like if you get the power up wherever your vehicle goes you leave a trail of fire.

so for example if i went straight the fire would be in the same area my vehicle was.

something like this

imagine the vehicle went that path, and the fire start behind him.

Well tracks would be made as lua scripts (which is where this whole thing comes from.....), but i could probably make a basic interface for it I guess if one isn't provided.
