I personally think that reading the VNs would lessen the hype of watching the animes, but if you're into VNs, maybe you'll enjoy them more than the animes.

not really, when it comes to current UBW, there are few minor differences between VN and anime, it keeps things fresh, and looking forward to all the scenes that are going to get animated hypes you even more, this animation of fights is an eye candy.
