Too bad it was just a fan made production that didn't last that much...
Touhou is pretty much fan driven ( e.g. fanart, dōjinshi, music , animation )
ZUN probably doesn't want Touhou to be that mainstream, other companies will just start milking money out of it if he makes it commercial.
